Performer, Educator, & Composer
Brad Myrick

My Story
I’m Brad Myrick, a composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer, educator, and music businessman from Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated my life to exploring the power of music—not only as a performer but as a mentor helping others discover their unique voices. As a graduate of the USC Thornton School of Music, I’ve been fortunate to perform, teach, and create across the globe, shaping my craft and sharing my experiences along the way.
My career as a musician has been a dynamic journey. I’ve been nominated three times for New England Music Awards, including 2023 Male Performer of the Year, and I’m honored to have won Best Musical Act in The Hippo’s 2023 awards. My performances range from intimate solo acoustic shows to full-band productions, blending influences from rock, pop, and Americana to world music and contemporary jazz.
I’m also proud to perform with my instrumental duo, Nicola Cipriani & Brad Myrick, releasing five albums of original music and touring internationally. Touring the U.S., Canada, France, and Italy as guitarist for acclaimed singer Vinx and working on studio projects for artists like Maria José and Italian label IRMA Records have deepened my understanding of music as both a craft and an art.
Beyond performance, my work as an educator is a cornerstone of who I am. I’ve taught at renowned institutions, including Academy in Bologna, Italy, and masterclasses and guest lectures at Coastal Carolina, UNH Asheville, UNH, and dozens of other institutions., Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, and Lizard Accademia Musicale in Florence. My teaching philosophy is rooted in deep listening, tailoring lessons to individual needs, and fostering curiosity and creativity. I believe music is more than technique—it’s an expression of emotion and story, and I aim to help my students find their voice in both.
I’ve also had the opportunity to share my knowledge through workshops and masterclasses across the U.S. and Europe and during my time as a staff member at Music Academy in Bologna. These experiences have shaped my approach to mentorship, focusing on blending structured guidance with open-ended exploration.
In addition to performing and teaching, I co-founded the NH Music Collective, a New Hampshire-based business that supports local artists through booking, promotion, and artist development. This venture reflects my passion for creating opportunities for musicians to grow and thrive.
When I’m not teaching or performing, you’ll likely find me composing, producing, or experimenting with gear. I’m proud to endorse Pleks Handmade Picks, particularly the Wanderlust model inspired by my duo’s album. I also rely on Collings, Waterloo, and Suhr guitars, K&K Sound Systems, Paige Musical capos, and Elixir Strings to bring my sound to life.
Whether on stage or in the classroom, my mission is to inspire curiosity, connection, and creativity through music. I’m grateful for every opportunity to share this journey with students, collaborators, and audiences alike.
